The beginnings of our firm date back in 1967- the establishment of a small private workshop. Our main activity was surface protection of metal by tin plating using barrel and rack methods, as well as nickel and chromium plating. To satisfy the increasing demands for galvanised protection of metallurgical products, we enlarged the workshop and increased the number of employees. Today the enterprise employs 30 people 30 % of which are women, working in two shifts. We introduced more sophisticated methods of surface protection along with a wider choice of colours such as brass plating, mat plating, dark nickel, old gold, and old copper plating. As a consequence of the amendment of legislation in 1991, we changed the legal form of the enterprise from a private company to a limited liability company and in 1993 gained status of an enterprise.   All rights reserved © 2004 Galma d.o.o.
